THE STUDIO
The studios are designed for 2 adults.
An additional bed can be added for children aged 8 and above for an extra fee.
For safety reasons, our property is unfortunately not suitable for children under 8 years old. Due to the natural layout of the land, including different levels, stairs, uneven terrain and open water, we feel this is the safest and most relaxing choice for both families and other guests.
LOCATION
These Are The Days Studios is located on top of the peaceful valley of Cerca dos Pomares,
hidden in the hills just outside Aljezur.
While we are less than 10 minutes from the village center and around 20 minutes from the beaches of Arrifana, Monte Clérigo and Amoreira, reaching us is part of the adventure.
The final road towards the property is unpaved, bumpy and at times a little wild
especially the first time you drive it.
But we truly believe the views and peacefulness at the end make it completely worth it.
DISCOVER THE STUDIO
The studio is a small 30m² off-grid studio created for slow and intentional living.
More than a rental, we wanted the studio to feel like an extension of our own home warm, lived-in, personal and filled with objects we genuinely love surrounding ourselves with.
The space combines natural materials, handmade details and carefully collected antique pieces with timeless contemporary design. Soft lime plaster walls bring warmth and texture throughout the studio, while the sleeping area features a 160cm Auping bed designed for deep rest and slow mornings.
KITCHEN AND BATHROOM
The kitchen was completely handmade during the renovation process and is fully equipped with everything you need: gas stove – combi oven – fridge – toaster – antique ceramics - table linens - handmade pour-over coffee set
We intentionally chose slow pour-over coffee instead of capsules because we love the ritual of slowing down in the morning, taking a moment before the day begins.
The bathroom features soft towels by Torres Novas, Portugal’s oldest linen brand, together with natural plant-based amenities by ROWSE.
Throughout the studio you’ll find pieces from brands and makers we deeply appreciate ourselves. Nothing was chosen quickly or purely for practicality. Every object was selected with the idea that if it wouldn’t belong in our own home, it wouldn’t belong in the studio either.
OUTDOOR
The studio has its own private outdoor terrace and a shaded pergola for long summer lunches and slow evenings outside.
Guests are also welcome to explore different shared corners of the land:
the natural swimming lake,
outdoor seating areas,
BBQ space,
hidden quiet spots throughout the valley
