These Are The Days Studios was born from a desire
to slow down and live closer to nature.
Hidden in the hills of Aljezur, our off-grid studios are more than a place to stay,
they are an invitation to embrace a different rhythm of life
quiet mornings,
ocean swims,
long dinners outdoors
and the simple pleasure of having nowhere else to be.

WHERE EXACTLY ARE THE STUDIOS LOCATED?
We are located in the hills of Aljezur, about 10 minutes from the village
and 20 minutes from the beaches of Arrifana, Monte Clérigo and Amoreira.
The Aljezur region is a place of wild beaches, quiet villages, endless nature
and a slower rhythm that feels increasingly rare in today's world.
It's a place best discovered slowly.
As part of the off-grid experience, the last part of the road
towards the studios is unpaved,
bumpy and a little adventurous at times.

THE STUDIO

AT TATD STUDIOS, WE BELIEVE LUXURY CAN ALSO MEAN SIMPLICITY.
Our studios run fully off-grid, powered by solar energy and water from our own borehole, encouraging a more conscious and mindful way of traveling,
without giving up comfort or beauty.
For us, living off-grid is not about going back to basics.
It’s about moving forward.
A step towards independence,
but also towards greater awareness.
Here, comfort, beauty and simplicity go hand in hand
just with a deeper sense of responsibility.
Outside, life follows the rhythm of the Algarve hills:
morning coffee on the terrace, afternoons at the ocean, swims in the lake,
warm evenings under the pergola and the sound of frogs after sunset.
